Calling for expulsion of any caste is both thoroughly unjustified and impracticable yet an important question which remains unattended is as to why only Bhumihars are one way or the other in the centre of almost all the bloody confrontations which have rocked central Bihar since 1995. Other upper castes ... Kayasthas, Rajputs -- and even the backward caste Kurmis have no love lost for Laloo Yadav yet they have not indulged in such dans macabre for no rhyme and reason and that too for so long.
