Computer dealer looted; boy released

 PATNA: Five armed criminals raided Krishna Agency, a dealer in computers, located on the Boring Road around 6 pm on Tuesday and looted Rs 25,000 in cash and valuables including UPS, printers, CDs, digital cameras worth over Rs 1 lakh.

Three gun-toting criminals barged into the shop and beat up two employees Manoj and Satish and then collected cash from the drawer before leaving with the articles.

In an operation which lasted for barely 8 to 10 minutes, the criminals decamped with cash and valuables. Kotwali police have registered a case in this connection.

Kidnapped boy released: A teenager allegedly kidnapped on Monday from near Patna Market returned home on Tuesday after being released by his captors.

 Ahmad Suroor Sultan (17), son of Siwan district education officer Sultan Ahmad, went missing on Monday noon, while on his way to attend class in a medical coaching institute.

Apprehending abduction of his son after he failed to return home, Sultan Ahmad filed a missing person report with the Pirbahore police station.

On his return home on Tuesday after being released near Karbigahiya, the youth told the police that some Maruti-borne criminals forcibily dragged him into the car and made him unconcious.

He, however, could not say much about where he was taken to or what the criminals did with him. Police is suspecting personal enemity behind the incident.
