CBI arrests absconding retd bureaucrat
PATNA: Retired IAS officer and former Bihar road construction department secretary K K saha, who is a key accused in the infamous bitumen scam case, was on Saturday arrested by the CBI from the Noida (UP) residence of his daughter. His daughter is a senior Indian Audit and Accounts Service officer.

Saha retired in 1994 and settled in Salt Lake, Kolkata. The CBI has taken him on transit remand and he will be brought to Patna on Sunday. The CBI had put Saha's Salt Lake residence under surveillance for the past 15 days. However, he had already left for Noida. Acting on a tip-off, the CBI sleuths raided his daughter's and arrested him.
