Plans & Activities:

A.  For Young brains   
1.    Scholar ship schemes For higher degrees in India and abroad
a.    Various trust in India and abroad  
b.    Bihar brains scholar ships scheme
2.    Search for poor Talent
3.    Consultancy and services for their Employment and education In abroad
4.    R&D centers at Patna for B.E/B.Tech/M.tech/M.SC.M.C.A /M.SC projects.
5.    Business Activity: We promote the concept of  "Become self employer and generate employment for many" and help those individual financially also under active guidance/promotional activity of the NGO. We can give consultancy to those companies who want to establish their centers at Bihar and willing to come under the NGO indirectly. The members of Bihar brains can be the partners of that company and the percentage share of his part from the profit of the company would go to the Bihar brains NGO for the development of welfare activities-. For this MOU would be signed between Bihar brains and the company.

B .For Research and Development:
           1. R&D Team Building: The technical team of Bihar brains is trying to pool resources for Research and development activities in Bihar by the group member capacity. In the first phase, we are committed towards building work environment and develop the work culture by sponsoring some projects at student level/researchers level that would be implemented by team of researchers of those particular engineering/medical/science colleges
We are starting All Bihar Live Projects Competition for the engineering /MCA/MSC/MCS from next year, 06 and planning to sponsor minimum one idea project at NIT, Patna. The gradual process of R&D work would certainly pave the path of good work culture and create good work environment. The establishment of "Aryabhatt chair of R&D" is our ultimate goal for these activities.

2.    Research Paper/Article Presentation: Bihar brains scholastic center is planning to hold open article /paper presentation competition every year. This is open for all the students of all the streams. We would like to call papers by inviting researchers on his work, which would be published by the Bihar brains scholastic center twice a year.
C. Data base management: Bihar was center for learning religious values and cultural ethics, hub of brains in ancient times, The research team of "Bihar brains scholastic center" would go deep into history and try to find out those Ancient, Medieval and modern Bihar Bibhushan who were originally from Bihar and contributed in shaping India and its cultural heritage onto the top of the world and helped the mass directly or indirectly, We would highly appreciate and invite those articles /paper supporting Biharis contribution in their own field from ancient era to modern. We are going to maintain the database of efficient people of Bihar.

D. NGO Formation and Fund raising

       For carrying out all these activities, we need fund and to utilize the fund in various activities we have to form society in the name of Bihar brains with the active donation of NRIs OF Bihar.   This NGO will also generate its own fund through   R&D Work and other local technical works. The Fund raising committee is trying to include more agencies for contribution.

E. Plans for consideration:

Aryabhatt Center for Research & Development for R&D at NIT, Patna /as independent entity as Deemed university with active co-operation of NRIs of Bihar.  We formed High-level expert committee headed by Dr. BK Sharma, noted space scientist and lecturer NIT, Patna to submit proposal for the same.
b.    TekBrains Co.Ltd:  Technical Building committee of Biharbrains decided to establish R&D company at Bangalore, Delhi and in the subsequent year at Patna in the name of "Tekbrains co. ltd"  . The business model of this company has been announced (www.biharbrains.org ). The part of the individual profit share of the company would be donated to Bihar brains NGO for the welfare activities.  

Our achievements:
a.    Three phases of Global chat meet: we called meeting of Biharis on yahoo chat in three phases in the month of Jan 2005 and formed general executive committee, Fund raising committee (headed by Dr. Kartik Sahay, Vice president, ACI Pahrm.inc, USA), Welfare committee (headed by Nandan Kumar, Research scientist, Univ. of Leeds, UK) Business activity committee (Headed by Mr. Ahmed Rasheed, IT manager, Saudi Arabia), Technical Building Committee (Headed by Bibhuti Bikramaditya, R&D Engineer, ASIC, IT magic Co.Ltd, Seoul ,South Korea). We formed three tier organizational structure: namely a. Chairman: Bibhuti Bikramaditya b. executive committee: headed By Dr.BK Sharma, c. Head steering committee; Dr. Kartik sahay,
b.    Bihar Brains Scholastic Center: On July 30, we established our own scholastic center of its own kind in Bihar , inaugurated by Dr. Rajmani Pd sinha ,VC Mithila Univ and the chief guest for this function was Dr. Jaggannath Thakur, VC Patna Univ in the warm presence of Sri amalendu narayan sinha and Mr. Bibhuti Bikramaditya, chairman Biharbrains at BM Das Road, Patna.The main objective of the Scholastic center at Patna is to provide international journals/magazines international papers/Important books and CDs for GRE/GMAT/TOEFEL/CAT/IES/IAS etc--with computer and all multimedia facilities--This will be online library of its own kind.. The welfare committee of the group would organize seminars/awareness programs /calling eminent persons from India and abroad etc-----
c.     Biharbrains Network: In a very short span of time, We formed good network of Biharis (over 600 people) In India and abroad .Our representatives In different parts of India (Patna, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai) and abroad (UK, USA, Germany, Singapore, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Australia, South Korea, Canada, South Korea) works day and night to make pool of Bihar brains.  The Patna daily e-news of Bihar made news about Biharbrains "Technocrats from Bihar forms Biharbrains to pool resources" on Jan 15,2005.

d. Bihar Brains tie-up with HOPE & Nabuur: In a first spectacular move, biharbrains, HOPE and nabuur (nether land based organization www.nabuur.com ) reached on agreement for the marketing plan for the famous book "Asia On Foot" written by Mr. Praveen Ohal ,Aurangabad(maharashtra) based social activist who created history by traveling  many (11) Asian countries on foot. This book describes his experience while traveling those countries

Main objective of the Book:
 We are using this book as fund raising tool in association with HOPE (Helping Organization for People, Environment and Animal Trust) is a charity organization initiated by Praveen Ohal

e.     Association with Science for Society, Bihar: Bihar brains signed an MOU With  "Science for society, Bihar"(www.science4societybihar.org) under Dept of Science &Technology, Govt.Of India, to give impetus to the popularization of science and technology, particularly among children--   - In association with science for society, BB will give projects to school children and develop toys and other scientific products which can be sold in the market. BB will do marketing of those products.
f.    Orientation Program on VLSI : we successfully organized  5 days orientation program on VLSI at "center for advanced computing" Physics dept, Patna science college and  15 studebts of different engg and science colleges of Bihar  were awared in the naugural function of BB Scholastic center on July 30,2005.

b.    Who are not Internet savvy: Interested people will have to fill up one registration form provided by Biharbrains local chapter and Then they may take part in the meetings/discussion call by local representative time to time when this is needed. Those members will be called by email/telephone for the meeting.
c.    Promoters: All high official /dignitaries of Bihar /out side Bihar can promote our activities. We really need help from our elders in shaping this organization more strong and in giving right direction.
