Morning's upper air cyclonic circulation over Lakshadweep area has become less marked.
The upper air cyclonic circulation extending between 2.1 to 4.5 km above sea level over Gujarat & neighbourhood persists. The north-south trough extending upto 1.5 km above sea level running from northeastern states to North Bay of Bengal now runs from Bihar to North Bay of Bengal.
Convective clouds are seen over parts of southeast Arabian Sea.
Moderate rainfall activity over south Peninsula and Northeastern States is likely to continue.
Subdued rainfall activity is likely to continue over northwest of India.
Rainfall activity is likely to increase over east central and eastern India.

Mainly dry weather in the region except western Himalayas where isolated light to moderate rainfall is likely on 2nd & 3rd.
East
Rain/thundershowers are likely at many places over northeastern states, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, at a few places over Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar and isolated in the rest of the region.
South
Rain/thundershowers are likely at many places over Andhra Pradesh, North Tamil Nadu, Interior Karnataka and at a few places in the rest of the region.
West
Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places over South Konkan, Goa, South Madhya Maharashtra and isolated over north Konkan, north Madhya Maharashtra and Gujarat with mainly dry weather in the rest of the region.
WARNING: Isolated heavy rainfall is likely over northeastern States, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Interior Orissa and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
