Politician parrot changes party!
PATNA: The 'magical parrot' trained by a leading orchestra master to chant "RJD zindabad" at the railway minister Lalu Prasad's election meetings in the past, on Thursday switched sides to JD(U) along with its master and sang paeans to NDA chief ministerial candidate Nitish Kumar.

The trainer Mausmi, with his parrot sitting on his wrist, on Thursday joined the JD(U) in the presence of Kumar. While Mausmi was garlanded by Kumar, the parrot flew and sat on Kumar's wrist and chanted "Nitish zindabad" much to the joy of a large number of people who had gathered at the SK Memorial Hall, here.
The parrot had been in the past a centre of attraction at RJD election meetings as it used to sing praises of the RJD. Asked how come the parrot had deserted the RJD, Mausmi said the parrot had on its own fell silent sometime earlier and one day started chanting "Nitish zindabad" without any provocation.
"It seems the parrot realised its mistake of eulogising the RJD for all these years and that is why had stopped praising that party", he said.
Commenting on his latest campaigner, Nitish Kumar said: "Animals are very sensible. They have their own way to distinguish good and bad."
