PATNA: Newspaper vendor Anil Kashyap, who despite all the constraints made it a point to send one of his children, Abhiket, to Kota to attend the reputed Bansal coaching institute for IIT, is shaken.
"To us, the news came like a ton of bricks, shattering our dream. We had arranged money -- a whopping Rs 51,000 -- somehow for our son's coaching. It also included the money sent by our elder son who has had to take up a job at a relatively young age."
"Despite being a father, I could not accompany my son to Kota because of the money factor. The government should have thought about people like us who have to struggle hard to go even one notch up in life.
