PATNA: The Congress on Saturday made an abortive bid to win over the CPI to its side to thwart the move of the formation of a third front in the state.
A three-member Congress delegation, comprising AICC general secretary and in-charge of Bihar affairs Digvijay Singh, AICC secretary Iqbal Singh and BPCC president Sadanand Singh, visited the CPI state headquarters, Ajay Bhawan, here on Saturday.
