Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, on Monday, expressed his confidence in the victory of NDA candidates in Bhagalpur and Nalanda in the upcoming by polls saying both constituencies would prove to be the Waterloo for the UPA candidates.
"These people (the Congress, Rashtriya Janata Dal, Lok Janshakti Party, and other UPA constituents) could not even agree on one candidate. How do you expect them to win?" Kumar said.
When asked about Janata Dal (U) leader Arun Kumar contesting from Nalanda as an Independent candidate, the Chief Minister said this was not going to have any impact on the ruling NDA parties in Bihar.
"The people of Bihar are seeing all the developments taking under the NDA and this has given them hope and confidence in our government. A good governance will automatically translate into votes for our candidates and that is what is making the opposition candidates and leaders nervous," the Chief Minister said.
Kumar also said he will present a report card detailing the achievement of his government at the completion of one year of NDA rule next month.
