Union Railway Minister Lalu Yadav lectured a group of students from the Harvard Business School in Delhi on Wednesday. He shared the turnaround story of the Indian Railways with them as he prepared lectures for later during the day to hold a similar session for 37 students from Wharton University.
Clearly, the Bihari shepherd prince is traveling business class with the success of Indian railways. "Indian railways was in deep mud when it was handed over to me. It takes lot of initiative to make a difference," said Lalu in his lecture.
Even the students appreciated his down-to-earth fashion as he lectured on. "He has a way with words," said one management student.
"In his words theory of efficient utilization is described as `milking the cow completely'," he added.
