Rajnath's rath had reached Gaya late Thursday night and from there moved through Aurangabad, Sasaram and Ara into Patna with the BJP president addressing several public meetings along the route. He addressed a public meeting in Ara late Friday night.
Addressing people at different places on his way to Patna, Rajnath made it clear that there would be no compromise with unity, integrity and defence of the country. He also cautioned against the move to make Hindus minority in the country through religious conversions and other methods.
The BJP president was presented a headgear and a sword and a Sudarshan Chakra in Aurangabad. Singh was also presented a sword at Bihta and a silver crown at a meeting at Maner around midnight.
The people of Danapur welcomed the Suraksha Yatra at Saguna More on Bailey Road in Danapur sub-division and from where Rajnath's rath yatra entered the state capital in the wee hours of Saturday.
Later in the day, Rajnath will lead the Suraksha Yatra from Patna to north Bihar. He will address a public meeting at Hajipur Sanskrit Vidyalaya ground. The Yatra will pass through Sonepur, Dighwara, Chapra and Siwan.
Singh will hold a public meeting in Siwan and from here the Yatra will proceed to Gopalgunj from where it will proceed to Uttar Pradesh.
