COIMBATORE: Washington University (WU) has signed a memorandum of understanding with city-based Ganga Medical Centre and Hospitals for provide training in hand and reconstructive micro surgery to American Doctors.
Under the agreement, the American doctors would undergo supervised training and would be exposed to clinical and didactic experience in advanced hand and reconstructive micro surgery, including replantation surgery.
Dr S Raja Sabhapathy, Director and Head, plastic, hand and reconstructive micro surgery department of Ganga hospital, would assume educational and supervisory responsibility for training, recognised by the American Council for Graduate Medical Education and Residency Review Committee
