Bhujbal also took a dig at some private industries opposed to reservation. "They want sop from the government at each step but when it comes to reservation, they insist on no government intervention," he said.
Several other leaders including the Member of Parliament Alok Mehta, Basawan Bhagat, Bagi Kumar Verma, and Deonath Prasad also spoke in favor of reservation.
The Maharashtra leader later gave medals and a certificate of commendation to each Panchayat leaders.
