Reacting to the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav's prediction of a meltdown in the NDA government in Bihar on the line of latest turn of events in Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government in Jharkhand, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, on Monday, pooh-poohed his claims saying Bihar had had enough of Lalu and Rabri and the people of Bihar were not interested in bringing them back.
"As far as Lalu Prasad is concerned, his days are over in Bihar. He might as well enjoy the power so long he is in Delhi," Kumar said while talking to reporters following his weekly public meeting at his residence at 1 Anne Marg.
"We know there are forces who are desperately trying to bring down the NDA government in Bihar but their nefarious scheme is not going to materialize because people of Bihar don't want to go back to the dark days under the previous government's regime," he said.
Kumar also said the Lalu-Rabri duo were given adequate security by the state government yet they complained about having not enough security around their official residence.
