Position: Research Analyst
“Financial transactions research and database maintenance”
Role:
- Extensive research on financial transactions (IPO, M&A, etc.) and preparing press releases
- General database input from hundred+ sources on a daily, ongoing base (M&A deals, financing deals, new companies, new contacts or contact info, etc. all scrubbed from emails, websites, newsletters, magazines, Yahoo for selected public companies daily)
- Preparation of company profiles, sector reports etc.
Candidate profile:
- Bachelors (economics, commerce) / MBA from reputed academic institutions
- Strong academic performance
- Strong understanding of research and an exceptional attention to detail
- 1+ years experience in a related field, with excellent knowledge of the financial markets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly, on the job
- Team player
- Excellent technical skills with standard office applications
