Position: Senior Financial Analyst

Primary Responsibility

• Investment recommendation and associated:
  • Analysis of financial statements of companies, external environment analysis, industry and technical analysis.
  • Analysis of various stock indices performance vis- a-vis a benchmark
  • Analyzing performance of capital markets as a whole for various countries
  • Assessment of investment attractiveness of 12-20 specified industries (most data provided by the client)
• Responsible for timely delivery of reports and other deliverables to the client

• Financial analysis, report writing and investment recommendation
  • Company reports
    • Analysis of Financial statements and target company’s business and industry
    • Interpreting stock movement charts

    • Building stock market updates
    • Analyzing performance of stock market indices
  • Sector reports
    • Conduct secondary research for analyzing industry, key trends and influence of external environment on it
    • Company and technical analysis
  • Market reports
    • Analyzing performance of capital markets including foreign exchange markets, fixed income markets and commodity markets for various countries
    • Understanding macroeconomic forces influencing these markets
• Prepare deliverables and take ownership for quality and accuracy for self and team
• Participate in client meetings and conference calls; manage client at the delivery-level
• Help team members become more effective through skill-enhancing guidance and coaching
• Seek and achieve expertise in target middle-eastern capital markets, industries and companies

• Experience: ~2 – 4 years
  • Preferred: Experienced ‘Analyst’ from brokerage or other securities firm, equity research house or an investment bank,
  • In analytical roles such as in capital markets, analyst firms, research firms, consulting firms, or in corporate finance or corporate strategy
• Education
  • MBA (essential)
    • Very high rank-holder from schools such as IIT, business schools, FMS, IIFT, SP Jain, MDI, IMI, FORE, etc.
  • First degree
    • CA, BCom(H) or BTech from IIT or BE from BITS, DCE, select RECs
• High intellectual “horsepower,”
  • e.g. high rank in CA, IIT-JEE, etc.
• Skilled in finance and accounting
• Excellent communication skills –both oral and written
