President A P J Abdul Kalam has accepted an invitation to inaugurate the first Bihar global meet to be held here later this month to discuss development strategies for the state, government sources said Thursday.
Also attending the Jan 19-21 meet would be Mauritius Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam, whose forefathers migrated from Bihar.
Experts and investors from India and abroad are expected to participate in the conference that intends to repackage Bihar as an investment destination.
