Expressing ang u i s h over the inability of Mul aya m S i n g h Yadav's administ r at i o n to stop children from being killed in Noida, Rashtriya Janata Dal chief and rail minister Lalu Prasad demanded that the culprits be given severe punishment.
Asked if he was in favour of President's Rule being imposed in UP, Yadav said that would not help. He, however, added that the Mulayam-led government should go. ``The earlier it goes, the better for the people,'' he said.
Asked if he would visit Nithari village, Lalu said he did not see any point in going there ``just to gather crowd''. He added, ``I am demanding that the administration take strict action against all those responsible for the gruesome act.''
