Magadh University (MU) will issue about 30,000 original degrees to students who have passed out of the university at both the degree as well as the postgraduate (PG) level.
Since the university did not issue any degree to its students since 1984, the figure has swelled to 30,000, MU VC B N Pandey said.
Pandey said that the university is taking cautious approach in this regard since the university was involved in a fake degree racket in the past.
