NTPC Plans To Add 500 MW Capacity In Bihar

NTPC has informed the BSE that the company and Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB) have agreed in principle to expand the capacity of Vaishali Power Generating Company Ltd (a joint venture between the company and BSEB) by setting up two units o f 250 MW each in addition to existing 220 MW capacity under renovation at Muzzaffarpur.
