The new look effigies are a big hit, particularly among the youth. "We were lauded and praised not only by the Ramlila organising committee but also by common people," he added.
"People are happy with the new look effigies," said Amit Kumar, member of the organising committee, adding that except the designer clothes of effigies, nothing else had changed.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Railway Minister Lalu Prasad and several MPs and legislators are expected to attend the burning of effigies here Sunday evening.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kundan Krishnan said foolproof security arrangements have been made for the event.
