Patna Science College Hosted First "NRI-Students'' Interaction Programme in the state

Patna, Jan 22, 2007: Patna Science College, a premier college in Bihar invited many NRIs & NRBs of Bihar to participate in " NRIs-Students Interaction Program" in the college Campus.
This program was organized by Patna Science College in association with BiharBrains Scholastic center in the auditorium of the dept of geology, Patna science College on the arrival of a large no of NRIs and industrialists from India and abroad to participate in first global Bihar Meet, organized by Bihar Times and Institute for Human development, New Delhi in association with govt of Bihar on Jan 19-21 at Hotel Maurya.

The main objective of this program was to have interaction of professors and students of various colleges of Patna with invited Guests on the topic "Role of NRIs in the Development of Bihar".
Over 100 students from Patna science college, NIT Patna , College of Commerce ,AN college , BN college and the representative professors of Patna Science College, College of commerce and AN College also participated in the said program.
This provided a golden opportunity for the students to have direct interaction with NRIs/NRBs and industrialists of Bihar who have achieved in their personal and professional career and have come forward for the development of the state. The students asked many questions related to development of Bihar.

The CEO of IGEMS.inc Ltd, USA, Sri Rakesh Kumar while interacting with the students laid Emphasis on the quality education and Knowledge which could be achieved by hard labor and sincerity.
On question of prosperity of Bihar, he said "Earning money is very important in life, and then only we can give some thing to the society and help in the nation building process. Due to lack of Positive attitude and degradation in mentality of People, the development process of Bihar has been badly affected". He advised the students that self motivation was important to build your career strong.

Sri Indrajeet Kumar Singh, CEO of Genesys Software, UK said, his company might consider investment in the state in the field of IT. While interacting with students, he gave mantra for success of any individual, i.e Objective Vision, Motivation Dedication etc. He advised the students to define the objectives of life with clear vision and understanding. Then only one should solely be devoted to one's work.

Sri Tathagat Awatar Tulsi, a child prodigy who set his record in Guinness book of world records, now working with IISC Bangalore and traveled through many countries for his research work in Physics, stole the show. On a thumping desk in a large gathering of students, Sri Tathaghat Tulsi said '' there is no reason why Bihar could not developed in spite of plenty of opportunities in Bihar".

In his view, Brains of Bihar are superb. On several occasions, Students of Bihar showed their talent in national and international fora. Due to lack of good infrastructure and knowledge information sources, rich students go outside state to gain knowledge but poor brains could not do so. He advised Brain Drain should be stopped. In this direction govt as well as local agencies should work together. He also advised students to earn more money. He gave thanks to BiharBrains which is working at ground level and trying to synergize the energy for development of Bihar by uniting people of Bihar in India and abroad on one platform.

Dr. S.N.Guha , Principal Of Science College, Patna while inaugurating this program , laid emphasis On speedy development Of science & Technology in the state in which NRIs of Bihar can play major role. He gave thanks to all NRIs and industrialists who were coming forward for the development in the state.
He advised NRIs to invest in the education sector of Bihar and to open more colleges and R&D institution in the state of Bihar.

At the end of the program , students also asked lots of questions related to career building .
Vote Of Thanks was given by Dr. Mridula singh, Professor of Hindi, College of Commerce, Patna .
