An Air Arabia flight to Kathmandu on Wednesday made an emergency landing at the Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan international airport in Patna due to fuel shortage.
Flight 537 from Sharjah to Kathmandu made an emergency landing after alerting the air traffic control tower here about fuel shortage, airport director Atul Dikshit told PTI. "All the passengers and members of the crew are safe and we are making arrangements for refuelling," Dikshit said.
The aircraft failed to make its scheduled landing in Kathmandu due to inclement weather, sources at the airport said.
The crew and passengers have not been allowed to disembark due to immigration constraints.
