The first ever common law admission test will be held on May 11 this year for admission to the Seven national law universities across the country. The two hour test would have objective questions, it was decided at a meeting of the university vice-chancellors in UGC on Thursday.
The test will be conducted in seven national law schools at Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Raipur, Bhopal, Gandhinagar and Jodhpur, besides centres in cities including Delhi, Chennai, Cochin, Mumbai, Chandigargh, Shillong, Jammu, Guwahati, Patna, Jaipur. The combined brochure containing information about these law universities would be available in www.clat.ac.in, from January 25.
