Tourists visiting Bihar will now have pictorial banks on the monuments, historical background and climatic condition of the districts of the state.
The State Archaeological Department has decided to publish a series of 120-page books on each district of the state. The social and cultural aspects of these districts will be highlighted.
The first such book will come on West Champaran from where Gandhiji launched his Satyagrah movement against the British in 1916-17.
The decision was taken at the State Archaeological Advisory Committee meeting in Patna on Monday. The book is likely to come up within three months.
