The story of Dasrath Manjhi creating a road (in Gaya)almost single handedly is well known. In replication of this,the villagers in the Suryagarha area (in Lakhhisaray) are chiseling the rocks off the Kajra hillocks to construct a road to connect several villages. The local community takes its time off on tuesdays and wednesdays to contribute thier valuable time and efforts for this. 150 feet of road has already been carved out.Needless to mention that the villager's plea to the government was unheard.
