The state cabinet on Tuesday decided to transfer all the employees working at one place for more than three years. The decision is likely to affect more than five lakh state government employees.
According to the chief secretary, R J M Pillai, the state cabinet has also approved the removal of the ceiling of 10 per cent on transfer of employees. It needs to be noted that due to the provision of ceiling a large number of government employees were able to avoid transfer.
