Central Tourism Minister for State Kanti Singh, while inaugurating the 30th session of the PGDM-MBA, and the Bachelor of Hotel Management at Patna Planetarium on Monday said the Center was serious about reviving tourism in Bihar and would soon open a Hotel Management institute in Bodh Gaya to promote tourism industry in the state.
Singh, like other politicians speaking only in future tense, said the government would soon open an 'Eco-Tourism Center' in Valmiki Nagar while also opening nine Hotel Management Institutes in Bihar under the 11th 5-year Plan.
"A number of hotels in the Public-Private Partnership would be opened in the state while grants would be given to private companies who invest in tourism industry." The Minister said.
IIBM founder Dr. P. R. Trivedi, Director Dr. Uttam Kumar Singh, Prof. Praffula Pandey, Dr. A. K. Nayak and several other academicians were present on the occasion.
