Bihar Cricket Association Gets Some Breathing Room
 In a much-needed reprieve to the Bihar Cricket Association (BCA), the Board of Revenue on Tuesday stayed the cancellation of its registration earlier announced by the state's registration department saying the matter needed to be further investigated before a final decision on its fate is taken. A member of the Board of Revenue said the December 12 order by the registration department had been stayed until further notification. Pleased by the announcement, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and the BCA chairperson Abdul Bari Siddiqui, at a press conference in Patna on Tuesday, said he was encouraged by the decision and was looking forward to the day when the BCA would get its affiliation back and the organization would get back to what it does best - organizing cricket events and promote the game at all levels. "The BCA would soon announce its cricket calendar that would include tournaments for men and women, boys and girls of all ages," Siddiqui said.
