Poll boycott at 32 polling stations on development issue
1:50 pm : Polling % : Katihar (28%), Bhagalpur (27%), Purnia (32%), Begusarai (16%), Munger (26%), Araria (20%), Kishanganj (30%), Supaul (31%), Banka (31%), Khagaria (24%), Madhepura (27%)
1:14 pm : Voting continues in Mongra (Katihar)
1:12 pm : Voters who refused to vote are compelled by police to vote at booth number 188, 189 in Madhepura.
1:12 pm : Madhepura - Police beat voters who refused to vote until their demand of road construction is met. JD-U's chief Sharad Yadav is contesting this seat.
1: 10 pm : JD(U)'s nominee Lallan Singh's men allegedly captures 3 booths in Lakhisarai of Munger constituency. RJD nominee sends fax to the EC.
12:05 pm : Zero voting at 3 booths in Munger due to Naxal threat.
11:32 am : Mongra (Katihar) - 3 policemen injured as supporters of two rival candidates clashed and indulged in stone throwing, leading police to open fire in the air to quell them at a booth in Mongra. Voting temporarily suspended.
11:30 am : Development a major issue in most of the constituencies
11: 25 am : Katihar, Purnia : Voting continues amidst sporadic rains at some places.
11:20 am : Voting percentage -- Araria (10.5%), Supaul (15%), Begusarai (15%), Bhagalpur (19%), Banka (21%), Munger (21%), Kishanganj (7%), Madhepura (10.5%)
11:15 am : Peaceful polling so far in Bihar
11:10 am : Kishanganj : Unable to control the rush police resort to baton-charge. 3 voters seriously injured.

Begusarai (Gopalpur) : Two bombs found from booth numbers 95 and 98 defused.
