Projects undertaken by the Bihar State Road Development Corporation (BSRDC) have been rated as one of the best in the road sector in the country, officials said quoting the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) under the Union Finance Ministry.
"The DEA would like to place on record the appreciation on the commendable performance of the BSRDC. The Bihar road sector projects funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have been rated as one of the best performing projects in the road sector.
"The innovations brought out by the Corporation in the monitoring of the project implementation are highly appreciated," Under Secretary (DEA) Mahanadasan P said in a letter to BSRDC Managing Director Pratyay Amrit.
The ADB has been financing the Bihar State Highway Project Phase(1) involving construction of 820 km of state highways at an approximate cost of USD 420 million.
