9th All India BSNL Volleyball Tourney From Tomorrow

The five-day 9th All India BSNL volleyball tournament will commence here at the Telegraph volleyball court here tomorrow.

Altogether 17 team besides 250 participants including players and officials from all over the nation would likely to take part in the five-day championship, S.C.Mishra chief general manager telecom, Bihar circle, patna and organising president, told reporters here today.

Mishra said championship would be played league cum super-league basis, all the 17 teams have been divided in a four groups, top team from each group would take part in super- league stage to vie for the title.

He said, Gopal Das, Director (HR), BSNL corporate office, New Delhi would inaugurate the championship here tomorrow.

The teams are from : Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, MTNL (Delhi), MTNL (Mumbai), Punjab, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh (East), Uttaranchal, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and host Bihar.
